Complaints & Appeals

AATT is committed to fair, timely, and transparent handling of complaints and appeals. We treat every concern seriously and confidentially.

What can be raised?

  • Complaints about AATT services, training, assessment, staff conduct, or facilities
  • Appeals of assessment decisions
  • Disputes related to Workplace Training Agreements
  • Privacy or records concerns

Three-stage process

Stage 1 — Internal review

Lodge your complaint or appeal in writing to AATT via info@aatt.edu.au within 20 business days of the issue. AATT acknowledges within 5 business days and conducts an internal review (assessment appeals are reviewed by an alternative assessor not involved in the original decision). Outcome communicated within 20 business days.

Stage 2 — CEO review

If you're not satisfied with Stage 1, you may escalate to the AATT CEO in writing. CEO reviews the matter and provides a written outcome within 20 business days.

Stage 3 — External review

If internal stages do not resolve your concern, you may contact:

  • The ASQA National Training Complaints Hotline on 13 38 73 or via https://www.asqa.gov.au/complaints
  • The Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) directly
  • The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) for privacy complaints

Confidentiality and non-retaliation

All complaints and appeals are handled confidentially. AATT will not retaliate against any person who raises a complaint or appeal in good faith.
